An Ark Quest is a curated travel experience in the Maldives designed by local experts. Each quest has a unique theme — from diving and wellness to culture and food — and comes in three experience tiers: Essential, Elevated, and Luxe.

Our three tiers — Essential, Elevated, and Luxe — let you choose your comfort level. Essential offers authentic local guesthouse stays, Elevated upgrades to boutique hotels with premium activities, and Luxe provides overwater villas with private experiences. You can even mix tiers within a single trip.

We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance for Essential and Elevated tiers, and 8-12 weeks for Luxe tier, especially during peak season (November through April). However, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests depending on availability.

Most nationalities receive a free 30-day tourist visa on arrival in the Maldives. You'll need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity, a confirmed hotel booking, and proof of sufficient funds. We'll provide specific guidance based on your nationality.

Absolutely! While our quests provide a curated framework, every itinerary can be personalized. You can swap activities, extend your stay, add special experiences, or build an entirely custom quest from scratch with our Build Your Own Quest option.

Yes, the Maldives is one of the safest destinations in South Asia. Solo travelers are welcome on all our quests. We also offer group departures if you'd like to join other travelers. Our local team is always just a call away for support.

The Maldives enjoys warm weather year-round. The dry season (November to April) is the most popular time to visit with clear skies and calm seas. The wet season (May to October) offers fewer crowds, lower prices, and excellent surfing and diving conditions.

Inter-island transport varies by tier. Essential tier uses public ferries and local boats, Elevated uses speedboat transfers, and Luxe includes seaplane and private speedboat transfers. We arrange all transportation as part of your quest.

Pack light, breathable clothing, swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, a good pair of water shoes, and any personal medications. For local island visits, modest clothing is appreciated (covering shoulders and knees). We'll send you a detailed packing list after booking.

Our cancellation policy varies by tier and timing. Generally, cancellations made 30+ days before departure receive a full refund minus a processing fee. Cancellations within 14-30 days receive a 50% refund. Please review our full booking policy for details.
